Understanding clothing as a visual diary, MJOLKSHAKE’s Josefine Frederica Neumann is a fashion designer and artist based in Sweden. After graduating with a masters in Fine Arts Fashion Design, she set out to create her own label. The core of her work resides in the upcycling of both materials and memories, connecting environmental and social values through the vehicle of design. The pieces here are sold exclusively by LUNCH, handmade by Josefine in her studio, closely mimicking flowers and organisms found in the natural world. With a focus on nostalgia and storytelling, Josefine uses her work to explore our own connection to the world around us, and the ways in which we remember and digest the world we move through everyday.
