Tie Trousers

S-BA is an independent womenswear label based in London. Rejecting conventions of biannual seasons and typical collection releases, S-BA create one main collection a year, with some pieces remaining as permanent. There’s a simplistic quality to the designs of S-BA. Favouring muted colour and naturals, the emphasis is placed on the design technique, and unique silhouette of each garment. Fabrics ruches and purposefully slips; overlaps and moulds to the body. The end process is something almost sculpture, leaning towards experimental. Each piece is designed and handmade in-house at the London studio, with online orders being made-to-order to reduce excess production. Hand stitching and embroidery adds to the uniqueness of each design. All usable fabrics scraps are kept to make one-off pieces, which are released throughout the year.
