Mariola Homoncik is a Cracow/Poland-Based knitwear and scraps designer. From her local studio, she personally designs and produces each design for the label. Mariola’s work explores the relationship between the human body and fabric drape. Each piece employs an asymmetric design with a unique suture and seam formation on each item. The influence is drawn from fabric ‘cut-offs’ - reimagining excess materials into an art form in its own right. The pieces are feminine, timeless, and elegant. The suture and seam formations vary in each item, allowing a sense of spontaneity and freedom to seep through the pieces, despite their seemingly rigid form.
