Oyster Choker

A pearlescent, oyster shell choker. This unique necklace features oyster colouring shells handmade with lightweight porcelain. Each shell is adorned with 24k gold accents. It is finished with a keshi freshwater pearl at the clasp with gold-plated findings. Due to the handmade techniques of these shells, no two are ever the same, just as in nature.

Care:
Due to the handmade nature, handle the jewellery with gentle care. To prolong the life of your pieces, avoid contact with water and harsh chemicals such as creams and hairspray. When wearing thick clothing, put the jewellery on first to prevent stretching. Clean pieces with a dry, microfibre cloth. Store your unique pieces in a safe place such as the box it came in. It is advised to remove items before sleep.

Beth Wham is a visual artist and jewellery maker based in Glasgow, Scotland. Beth creates poetic stories through her jewellery that is inspired by her imagination and dreams. Each jewellery piece is carefully designed and handmade in small batch and made to order productions in her studio in Glasgow. Predominately working with precious porcelain and freshwater pearls - each piece is entirely one of a kind and unique. All of Beth’s work comes back to the notion of returning to her inner child of collecting sea shells on the beach and playing in nature. Drawing inspiration from the innocent wonder and whimsical imagination that lives in all of us. Through her art, Beth invites viewers to embark on a journey through the simple joys of existence that is shown from her imaginary perceptive.
