Rosie MacDougall is a staple in Scotland’s independent fashion scene. Becoming instantly recognisable through her unorthodox sheer knit design, Rosie graduated from the Glasgow School of Art and continued to set up her eponymous label. The pieces are handmade by Rosie in Glasgow, working on a made-to-order basis in line with her zero waste policy. Her designs reimagine classic Scottish knitwear traditions, staying true to traditional production methods, whilst splicing through a distinctly modern sensibility. With rich colour, sensual design, and a lighthearted approach, Rosie MacDougall’s pieces embody a carefree sensibility, embodied by the wearer when dressed in her pieces.
