Based in Mexico, the inspiration for altrgo. grew out of founder Adriana Rejes’ experience of immigration. Reckoning with identity, insecurities and desires, Rejes sought to create a space which closed the gap between her true self and outside projections. What resulted was her label which combines sexy and versatile designs with a handmade, sustainable production process.

Through altrgo., Rejes seeks to start conversations – varying from ideas surrounding our relationship to our bodies, to how we can consume fashion consciously. altrgo. is driven by the belief that through wearing designs that speak to us personally, their versatility and longevity benefit not only the planet, but equally the wearer.
